the Brueghel-box project, 2004
It was a co-operation among students of my class as part of visual studies. It was connected to Pieter Brueghel's
painting Netherlandish Proverbs. We had 36 wooden boxes. Each student painted on the door of his/her
own box a detail of the picture using traditional techniques, then everybody made an installation inside: a new interpretation of the
front side.
